Adoption Fees:

Our adoption fees are listed below unless otherwise noted in the animal's Petfinder profile or shelter card. Adoption fees may vary depending on animal age, length of stay, and other factors.

Dogs

• Puppies (eight weeks to five months of age) - $185 
• Dogs (over five months of age) - $120 and up 
• Dogs (2-10 years old) - $80 and up
• Long Term Resident and Senior Pets - ask us!

All Dog/Puppy Adoptions Include all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, adopter bags of food and treats, free first exam, and adoption counseling by phone or email.

Cats

• Kittens (under 1 year of age) - $85.00 (may have discounts on multiples)
• Cats (over 1 year of age) - $50.00 (may have discounts on multiples)

All Cat/Kitten Adoptions Include all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, adopter bags of food, free first exam, and adoption counseling by phone or email.

Surrender Fees:

Animals accepted by appointment only! 

We have limited space at the shelter and often have a waiting list for animals to be surrendered

From Parke or Vermillion County:

• Dogs surrendered from Parke or Vermillion County - $30
• Puppies surrendered from Parke or Vermillion County - $10
• Cats surrendered from Parke or Vermillion County - $25
• Kittens surrendered from Parke or Vermillion County - $5

Out of County:

• Dogs surrendered from another county - $50
• Puppies surrendered from another county - $15
• Cats surrendered from another county - $30
• Kittens surrendered from another county - $10
